Event description

Students and young adults who are moving into the workplace can practice the skills needed to make those first impressions with new people whether in person or through applications or interviews.

This 6-week, online course will help you take on the job hunt by giving you skills and practice in navigating the list of first impressions between graduation and work.

Using these skills will help you secure a part time job while still in high school or college and build a work history that gives you a start on the road to a career.

Participants will hone their workplace readiness skills, build their Job Searching Toolbox, create strong resumes and cover letters designed to make a good first impression, and prepare to shine at interviews through research and practice.

Students meet every Tuesday from November 5 through December 10 to learn to overcome barriers, build their networks, and effectively share their superpowers with future employers.

Space is limited. Please register below by October 25, 2024. If you have questions or need more information, please contact Janet George or call 206-906-5530.
