Self-employment is a viable career path for many individuals, one that incorporates doing what you love, being creative, and the freedom to work for oneself. Yet being responsible for all parts of a business can be overwhelming and challenging. 

The complexity of being a business owner does not need to be navigated alone. DSB supports individuals who are interested in self-employment with discovery, planning, and execution.

Career seekers interested in entrepreneurship either through the Business Enterprise Program (BEP) or through another endeavor, may start by applying for VR services. If eligible, customers start counseling with a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor who will assist in identifying the steps and resources necessary to begin this enterprising journey.
